Creativity has many benefits to your child in the early years.

It helps develop fine motor skills, as well as increase their ability to focus and concentrate. They will also learn new skills, improving their problem solving capabilities and learn how to make their own choices. As well as these benefits, it is also just fun.

These regular classes are for those with 18 months old up to those toddling and ready to start school, and run for an hour.

There will be a main make which will be different each week. Some elements of this may require a little adult help, especially for the younger artists in the group. However, if freestyling is more their scene, we have an exploration table set up where they are free to stick and colour whatever it is they feel like!

We also have ‘baby corner’ available to those who have a little one who is too young to fully enjoy the other activities. This area will include some toys, books, and some simple sensory items to keep them busy.

Our regular art and craft sessions currently run on Friday mornings at Paddock Wood Community Centre. There is also a play area on site, as well as ample free parking. The site is fully accessible with toilet and changing facilities available.

Please dress your little one appropriately. We try our best to use washable materials, but cannot promise that anything that gets onto clothing will come off. We would advise them to wear clothing that is ok to get a bit dirty!
