Come and join us for a different sort of craft session!
Perfect for those who want to get creative with the kiddies but don’t want to have to deal with the mess at home.
We will have various projects the children can complete if they want to, but bare in mind that those with littler hands may require a bit of help from their grown up! They will be making texture impressions in clay which can be used to make a mobile if they wish, conjouring up stick wands , and visiting the bug bar to make their own minibeasts!
This session is designed to be relaxed, with the children able to wander and explore. They can create whatever they wish with the materials we have. They will not be ‘tutored’ through the projects, but will have instruction to hand…. though we are all for going a little off plan and making their own version!
This will be a session held outside in woodlands, with plenty of space and time to explore and play. This is more than just a craft session! You are able to stay in the woodlands until 12.00 if you wish to let your little ones burn off as much energy as possible!
We have not set a lower age limit; you know your child and their abilities best. We do, however, recommend that those aged 2 and over will probably get the most from the session. Any siblings under the age of 1 who are coming along with their older siblings do not need to pay, but it is assumed they will not use any of the materials beyond some paper and pencils.
We use washable products where possible, but cannot ever guarantee how true the ‘washable’ statement truly is! So please put children in clothes that are ok to get a bit messy!
Also bare in mind this session uses natural materials and involves time outside, so don’t be surprised by any bugs or dirt that may end up on your child!
