Come and join us for a different sort of craft session!
Perfect for those who want to get creative with the kiddies but don’t want to have to deal with the mess at home.
We will have various projects the children can complete if they wish, but bare in mind that those with littler hands may require a bit of help from their grown up! They will be making texture impressions in clay which can be used to make a mobile if they wish, using coloured feathers to create a fantastical bird, and visiting the bug bar to make their own minibeasts!
There will also be colouring sheets, paper, pencils, glue, and all sorts of other bits and bobs for them to use to make something fabulous!
This session is designed to be relaxed, with the children able to wander and explore. They can create whatever they wish with the materials we have. They will not be ‘tutored’ through the projects, but will have instructions to hand…. though we are all for going a little off plan and making their own version!
We aim to be outdoors as much as possible with this session, though if the great British Summer works against us, we have a room to use instead.
We have not set a lower age limit; you know your child and their abilities best. We do, however, recommend that those aged 2 and over will probably get the most from the session. Any siblings under the age of 1 who are coming along with their older siblings do not need to pay, but it is assumed they will not use any of the materials beyond some paper and pencils.
We use washable products where possible, but cannot ever guarantee how true the ‘washable’ statement truly is! So please put children in clothes that are ok to get a bit messy!
Also bare in mind this session uses natural materials and may involve time outside, so don’t be surprised by any bugs or dirt that may end up on your child!
Important Stuff…
This session is on Thursday 25th June @ 9.30am
For preschool aged children.
Parents/carers are required to stay with their children.
Taking place at Great Comp Gardens, Comp Lane, St. Marys Platt, TN15 8QS.
Includes entry to the garden for ONE ADULT only. Additional adults will need to pay £12 on entry, unless they are a member of Great Comp Gardens. Proof of membership will be required for those booking as Members.
Sibling discount available when booking for 2 children.
